People with Multiple Sclerosis Helping Each Other
Although we now have a home that is wheelchair accessible (thanks to a willing, helpful builder) we still have a huge barrier that is insurmountable. We cannot visit anyone unless they live in an apartment building. Not being able to get in any door of the homes of our friends and family means we cannot take part in the most basic social activity of getting together for a family dinner. How sad is that?
I understand your frustrations. I am still able to walk with crutches but I find stairs a challenge. Have your dinners at your place or go out to a restaurant or picnic.
There’s always a way.
